Hampton’s 2011 NFL Forecast Week 14
New Orleans Saints @ Tennessee Titans
Chris Johnson has been going wild in the last two weeks, playing worthy of the name CJ2K. They host the New Orleans Saints, who are one of the worst teams against the run. If the Titan D can hold up and keep the Saints under 30 the Titans have a chance to win this game. If they can keep them to 21, that’s a bingo!
Hampton Forecast
Saints 27 – Titans 22
Blue House Lives
Saints 23 – Titans 21
Trojan Horse
Saints 63 – Titans 14
Atlanta Falcons @ Carolina Panthers
Last weak I picked the Falcons to beat a Houston Texans team that’s offense was basically just Arian Foster, and they failed to do so because of an overthrown Matt Ryan pass to Roddy White. This week they play a Panthers team that will put up more points than the Texans did last week. However the Panther D is one of the bottom 10, so this game will be a Pac 12 styled classic, that the Falcons must win to keep pace in the Wild Card and NFC South Races.
Hampton Forecast
Falcons 38 – Panthers 33
Blue House Lives
Falcons 24 – Panthers 20
Trojan Horse
Falcons 34 – Panthers 24
Indianapolis Colts @ Baltimore Ravens
Baltimore Fans, true Baltimore Fans that is, have been waiting for this game ever since Manning had that 2nd Surgery. The Colts have been rubbing salt in the wound they caused overnight since Manning came to power and it’s finally Baltimore’s turn with the Salt Shaker.
Hampton Forecast
Ravens 33 – Colts 13
Blue House Lives
Ravens 31 – Colts 6
Trojan Horse
Ravens 27 – Colts 13
Houston Texans @ Cincinnati Bengals
For the Titans to make the playoffs, (as I picked earlier this year) the Bengals must lose this game…
Hampton Forecast
Texans 24 – Bengals 21

Texans 31 – Bengals 16
Trojan Horse
Texans 30 – Bengals 20
Minnesota Vikings @ Detroit Lions
The thorn in the Lion’s paw that has been personal foul penalties has been overshadowed by Jared Allen’s, aka The Midnight Lumberjack, verbal attack on the city of Detroit. I myself haven’t heard it, but it was probably similar to what I’ve been saying. “The city is a poison for professional athletes.” Just think about it, every team from the area is renowned for being dirty. The Lions, the Tigers, the Pistons, oh my! Even players without a history of bad conduct can’t seem to avoid it. Ask Suh. If Peterson plays the Vikings win. If he doesn’t the Lions climb past the Bears for the sole lead in the Wild Card. With the assumption he won’t… Suhspended.
Hampton Forecast
Lions 26 – Vikings 16
Blue House Lives
Lions 22 – Vikings 18
Trojan Horse
Lions 37 – Vikings 10
Kansas City Chiefs @ New York Jets
The Jets still lie in must win territory. Though they lay in a 4 way tie for the 1st wild card spot, that’s also a 4 way tie for the 2nd wild Card spot. They can’t afford to slip up to a Chiefs team that managed to beat Chicago on a HALF TIME hail mary, that was batted directly into McCluster’s McGut.
Hampton Forecast
Jets 23 – Chiefs 6
Blue House Lives
Jets 19 – Chiefs 13
Trojan Horse
Chiefs 27 – Jets 19
New England Cheatriots @ Washington Redskins
The Redskins couldn’t be the Jets Monkey Wrench last week, so they won’t be able stop the Gronk this week.
Hampton Forecast
Cheatriots 34 (Gronkowski 18) – Redskins 10
Blue House Lives
Cheatriots 35 – Redskins 14
Trojan Horse
Cheatriots 35 – Redskins 14
Tebow Watch 2011
Denver Broncos @ Chicago Bears
The Broncos can pull a full game ahead of the Raiders this week with a win against a wavering Bears team. The two keys to winning this game are to avoid turnovers and DON’T KICK THE BALL TO DEVIN HESTER!!! Hopefully Denver heard that, because not only can I not pick against Tebow, but I can’t pick a team that lost to Kansas City last week.
Hampton Forecast
Broncos 24 – Bears 10
Blue House Lives
Broncos 20 – Bears 18
Trojan Horse
Broncos 19 – Bears 16
Hampton Forecast Upset Pick of the Week:
San Francisco 49ers @ Arizona Cardinals
The 49ers locked up the NFC West last week, and can knock the Cardinals down to the dreaded unmagic number of 1. (One win by any of the current 7-5 teams that win today or one loss by Zona to be eliminated). They’ll look to pad those division stats, but the Cardinals won’t be eliminated this week.
Hampton Forecast
Cardinals 25 – 49ers 18
Blue House Lives
49eers 13 – Cardinals 10
Trojan Horse
49ers 27 – Cardinals 9
Oakland Raiders vs Lambeau Field and the Undefeated Green Bay Packers
16-0.
Hampton Forecast
Packers 38 – Raiders 13
Blue House Lives
Packers 31 – Raiders 20
Trojan Horse
Packers 37 – Raiders 21
Buffalo Bills @ San Diego Chargers
The Bills were 5-2. Now they are 5-7. If they lose today it will be 6 straight. The Chargers were 4-3 and snapped a 4 game losing streak last week. Of these 5-7 teams, the loser will be at that dreaded unlucky 1 and the winner lives to fight another week. I’ll go with the Chargers team that managed to break their tread mark last week. (Think about that one, it’ll come to you.)
Hampton Forecast
Chargers 33 – Bills 17
Blue House Lives
Chargers 28 – Bills 25
Trojan Horse
Bills 24 – Chargers 20
Sunday Night Football
New York Giants @ Dallas Cowboys
The Giants were like “Striker’s Lost Hair” last week. Easily the 2nd best performance of the week, sadly they played the Best performer of the week. This week they have a team that lost to the Cardinals and with the same effort, will be 1st in the NFC East this week.
Hampton Forecast
Giants 33 – Cowboys 24
Blue House Lives
Giants 31 – Cowboys 28
Trojan Horse
Giants 3 – Cowboys 0
Monday Night Football
St. Louis Rams @ Seattle Seahawks
Beast Mode is still active, the Seahawks maintain a slim chance of making the playoffs with an awful Rams Squad.
Hampton Forecast
Seahawks 24 – Rams 16
Blue House Lives
Seahawks 21 – Rams 18
Trojan Horse
Rams 20 – Seahawks 14
Hampton Forecast: 99-41 (.702)
